Intercooler Pipe- Left Side (aluminum)
Created on 2008-10-18 20:35:38
The left side is more congested than the right side, so the inner fender needs a bit moremodification. I have the pipes fit and the fender cut, but still need to weld in most of the patch. The pipe does fit with the intake and MAF, so the rest is just cosmetic at this point. The stock radiator fits in between everything, but I need something larger- but that is another project.

| Intercooler Pipe- Left Side | 2008-10-07 | 3 | With the right side done- I need to focus on the left side. This will be a bit more complicated, since the MAF and turbo intake pipe are in this area as well. I will first build an... | |
| Intercooler Pipe- Right Side (aluminum) | 2008-10-07 | 4 | After measuring the ABS mockup- I ordered a polished aluminum pipe 45 deg bend and cut the legs to size. Fits pretty nice with the silcone connectors I picked up as well. | |
| Intercooler Pipe-right Side | 2008-09-16 | 3 | The intercooler was build and fitted last year, with the intent I would work out the pipe routing "later". I guess it's now later. I am starting with the "cold pipe", the intercool... | |

| Electrical Conduit | 2008-09-01 | 4 | I added a conduit to the front wheel well on both sides to run the wiring as well as the hood latch release through. This should keep the engine compartment free of extraneous wiri... | |
| New Toy | 2008-09-01 | 1 | After trying to figure out how to make some of the firewall cuts I need to make, I decided to buy a plasma cutter. Just a cheap one (yeah Harbor Freight), but this really makes cut... | |
| Hood Repaired | 2008-09-01 | 2 | The last piece of sheetmetal to be worked on is the hood. There were two punched in areas close to the bulkhead end, and the front lip was also damaged. The hood is now repaired, a... | |
| Hood (bonnet) Seams | 2008-08-24 | 3 | Since I welded the fenders on, I removed all the bolts and captive nuts that hold the fender in place along the hood edge. The bolt holes were welded in, then ground flush and fill... |
