I bought the car in August 2011 with the sole intention of hiring the car out through the Classic Car Hire Company for whom I work. I am the Operations Manager for www.greatescapecars.co.uk The car has had new leaf springs, alloys and tyres, a new console and I have added a 12v socket for the dummies who cannot read a map. I also got rid of the old static seat belts and added new inertia belts for ease and comfort. The car has had five hires to date and I am really pleased with it. I know its not quite the same as you Guys who love and cherish your MG's but I am really attached and do really love the car...but I believe that if i look after it and keep it looking and running well then I am able to allow many others to have the same experience but without the hassle and expense. Russ.

Finally started pulling her apart to see what I've got myself into. Drivers side need some serious attention. Lots of fiberglass holding things together. I think I can save the "A" and "B" pillars but will have to replace all the sill work and rear inner fender sheet metal. Also will need the usual front lower fender repair and rear dogleg.
