Complete And Running!!

Well it's been about two months since I finished the engine bay. Most of the kinks have been worked out and the GT is performing very well. Although a supercharger would really make it hum! Oh well it's good to dream...

Time For An Overhaul

Early last summer (2008) I had the head rebuilt because an exhaust valve was sticking. After installing the new head, I noticed a significant increase in the amount of blue smoke belching from the exhaust. SH&%$#!!!

So it was time for an engine rebuild.

In November, 2008 I started the disassembly process which was a little stressful given my fairly limited mechanical knowledge. Luckily I have the MGExperience forum members plus a couple of other great friends who I could rely on when I got confused (which happened often).
