Here's the first attempt at clearing the frame for control arm travel. Turns out this still isn't enough.

First Assembly

When I started bolting the control arms on, I knew there was a clearance problem but wasn't aware how severe it was. The coilover mounts haven't been added yet because I haven't decided where my ride height will be.

Here's the assembly jig for layout on the upper control arm mounts. I made the jig adjustable because the upper mounts are different from side to side.

Starting Lower Control Arms

Here's the lower arm and jig. Fortunately, all the front arms are symmetrical, so I don't have to alter the jigs for the other side. The local aluminum supply shop has been an invaluable source of information as they race circle track cars.

I sold the webers for $250. The kid was going to put them on a Datsun P.U. Hope he rebuilds them first

Finally Home.

I brought the car home in the rain. There are plenty of websites that have midget rotisseries so I used the features that I liked. The only change made was to reverse the heads on the engine stands. I'm able to push the whole assembly through a 40" gate to my side yard. I hope the neighbors don't complain.

What is that

What is that?
