The Engine Removal

Some before pictures of the right hand side before removing all the bits and pieces ... added a picture of the right side after the bits and pieces were removed ... I continue to remove stuff.

Removed exhaust manifold today 6-20-2009 ... someone tried to repair a crack in it ... bad job so I will need to buy a new one or find another.

Getting close to the time to remove the engine ... bought an engine lift and stand off Craigs list today ...

Down to a few small bits to remove ...

Fenders (wings) and Gas Pump, Exhaust all off ...

07-11-2009 Everything off now and transmission bolts undone (that sure wasn't much fun). Put the engine hoist hooks back on (needed to put the water pump housing back on to do the front one)and will pull the engine in the next couple of weeks ...

1977 Midget Air Cleaner Restore

Just starting my 1977 Midget restore ... some pictures of the air cleaner - taking it down to metal - I will post the pictures of the finished air cleaner - hard to find the originals with all the parts. Just added the pictures of the air cleaner completed.
