This car was aquired with a pile of old repair bills in the trunk. The car burned sometime in the early or mid-80's. It was then bought by a Doug Von Koenig in Toledo, Ohio. In 1985 the car was salvaged, repaired and put back on the road. Repair bills indicate that Doug moved to Michigan in the late 80's. Doug owned it at least until June of 1995 (last repair bill with his name on it). I bought it from Eugene Echevarria Jr who had it shipped here to Maine from Michigan. It didn't pass Maine inspection so he paid to store it in a storage garage I own. He lost interest and sold it to me for $500.00. All major repairs (castle rails, front end work)has been performed by John Campbell of SPORTS CARS in Harrison, Maine and should be back on the road in the spring of '08.
