Took Baby To A Show

The wife and I went to the car show in Waynesboro Saturday. It was a very good show and we met a few MGE members there. Talked to Jim Shinsen, Naomi and Bill, and Lloyd Hess.
As always, there were quite a few very nice MG's there. I think Baby showed very well. A lot of people commented on the Iris Blue. Not many around for people to see.

Wire Wheel Balance And Toe In

Took my right front wheel to Hendrix Wire Wheels in Greensboro, NC to have the tire changed and the wheel balanced. I can't say enough good things about these guys. They balanced and trued the wheel and tire. Did a super job! They really know their stuff.
I ordered some toe in plates and when they arrived I set the toe in on the car. These things are the cat's meow. What a difference the balancing and toe in adjustment made. No more vibration. Thanks go out to Lloyd for providing the toe in info on the forum.
Now it's time to get the car ready for the car show in Waynesboro, Va. this weekend.

Well the interior is now blue. Had some problems with the panels on the passsenger side but new panels are on the way.

I thought I would have the interior in by now, but as they say, stuff happens. Anyway Greg is now in the process of getting the interior done. I haven't been able to help much as the old arthritis has kicked up on me.
I would probably just be in the way so I'll let Greg do his thing and try to help when and where I can.
Here are a few pics of the start of putting the new interior in. I'll post more as we progress.

The new interior arrived today. it looks great. I can hardly wait to take it down to Greg's and start putting it in. They were supposed to send me samples of the tops but they didn't so I have to give them a call.
Looks like Wednesday will be when I can take the car to Greg. I'll be helping on the installation so it will go faster. Hopefully it will be in by Friday. I'll be sure to post some pictures.

The Gathering

Went to my first British car show with Baby. It was at The Gathering in Dobson, NC. 400 mile round trip. Baby ran great.
The car show was put on by the local Triumph club and they put on a first rate show. Baby even got third place in her class. I was very happy as there were almost forty MG's in the chrome bumper class.
I look forward to going again next year.
