OK, so having purchased the car a week ago and driven it around a bunch, it was time to get it inspected. I brought it to Westwood Motors Inc. LTD in Northvale NJ. They work mainly on foreign cars- saw an Porcshe, Triumph, and MGA.

I was there primarily for a carb tuneup and NJ required inspection, but also had the valve cover gasket replaced to slow down one of the leaks.

Leaks I know about right now: timing change cover, rear axle case.

Other known issues: heater valve clogged, instrument lights have a dead short, bad rheostat, wiper fluid motor not working, water leaks.

Already done: popped door handle fixed, inside of doors hit with a rust converter, air intake grille drain tube cleared.

More as work prgresses.

Youre vehicle looks like one of the LTD Edition cars MG made with the side decals for the American market, I had one of these a few years ago and had a few problems but nothing major, good luck with your project, if I can assist give me a call.
