Well i started to hear the chirping sound, or was it squealing, i dont remember. At first i thought it was a loose fan belt, but on further investigation i found it started when i turned on the lights!

Took the alt. off and took apart, found metal shavings inside--bad sign. Bad lower bearings, not replaceable!

Tried Moss, wanted $205 for a re-built one, 1 year warranty. Tried VB $165 for re-built, 1 year warranty!

I said to myself--self lets try NAPA?

They had 2 one 3 year warranty, re-built $67.50, another lifetime warranty, new, $87.50!

Guess what i bought?
