Up to this point I did not keep a Journal of my activites on the car. From when it came back from the painter I started so here goes:
Nov. 27/06: replaced gas struts in hood and trunk after painting. Scared to touch the thing for fear of damaging the new paint.
Nov. 29/06: Installed hood latches; tapped body bolts in windows frames, and many others.
Nov. 30/06: Installed headlights, bonnet bumpers, hood release cable after painting it. Painted new gas tank Red Tremclad first then top coated with sprayed HL. Repainted front bumper for the 4rth time with 3 coats of acrylic enamel. Painted side mounts for folding top.
