Drove the BGT today!! Started it in first gear and drove around the yard. It was fun and a taste of things to come. No clutch, no brakes, and a leaking carb but still fun. It was good for inspiration. I wish the rest of my parts would come in. Paul

My parts are in!! Tonight myself and whatever other friends can come over are going to get her running again. I need to install the fan, radiator, heater valve, ignition parts and such. I also had the ignition switch go bad on me so I will be installing a start switch in the console. I now have a complete fuel system and should be ready to run. i am still waiting on a clutch kit, front caliper kits, and rear cylinders so I will still have to wait a week or so for those to come in. I am looking for the right tires now and would like to paint the wheels this weekend. Till later, cheers, Paul

Tonight I plan to have more friends over. We are going to disassemble all the brake components on the parts car and mine and see what is rebuildabl and what I need to replace. We will also be taking apart the shocks and seeing about stopping the leaks and refill them. I'll let you know how that went. Paul

Got the parts car today. Good door, good wing, good steering rack and suspension parts. Unfortunately, the wire wheels look like the splines are too worn to use. I will be using the original Rostyle wheels. It also has good brakes and a few other parts I need. Looks good so far. Paul

Tonight we got alot acomplished. I had family and friends over to help. Thanks Mike, Fred, Mitch, Ben. We disassembled the brakes and wheel bearings. Mitch removed the carbs and I disassembled them. Should be getting the parts car this weekend and then I will have a wing and alot of other much needed parts. It has wire wheels so I am hoping they are ok.
