The Garage Begins!
Created on 2007-07-26 16:19:56
They broke ground today! I've spent the last week or so cutting down overgrown crap that needed to go, and what seems like forever before that planning. The grading people started hauling off the brush today. By the end of next week they tell me they'll be pouring....

The plan is to add a bay off the back of the existing building as big as I can -- I'm limited by an overhead easement for a powerline, so I can only go back 18'. But it will be the full width of the existing building. Once that's built, I'll convert the existing building into a garage as well (which is what it started as, before the previous owners made it into a house!)

Replacing A Dogleg 6   Had a heck of a day. I knew I needed to replace the right dogleg, so I cut away enough to see what's what. I found, not unexpectedly, that the sill was shot. So, I spent the mor...

Why I Like Silicone Brake Fluid 2   Here's what happens when the DPO lets your C brake booster leak and doesn't do anything about it. One of these shots is looking through an access hole I cut to see what the inside ...

Mgc Progress 4   There's been minor progress on the MGC GT -- I dragged it up from the shed to the house! The plan is to start working on it (assuming I ever have time away from work again) in prep...
