Catchup On The Journal Thing.
Created on 2008-07-02 06:29:41
I've done a lot more but haven't recorded here, I've just been through a very busy time at school and the working on the car has been more of a sanity retainer. At this stage I'll try to catch up with a series of linked photos - hopefully in order.
1/ The rail around the back of the cockpit:

2/ The old door panels and the new panels:

3/ The door caps and their recovering:

These things have been done over a period of about 3 weeks. Most recently I got out the painting stuff again and put some more paint on the two guards and the boot as well as masking and painting the joins under the edges of the bonnet. I think I've got enough paint on now to get a reasonable finish with the buffer. (which by the way 'karked' it yesterday , so today I bought a new one)
I've fitted the grill and the little buffers under the bonnet edges.
Photo just for motivation - most things are just sitting in place:

| The Bonnet X2 | 2008-05-14 | 4 | 1 | This morning I looked again at the finish I'd got after primer coats and decided that it wasn't good enough. It had some small holes along the nose so I tried to sand them out. Got... |
