I am 23, in the navy and living in Silverdale WA. I grew up reading my dad's old car mags and listening to his stories of scca racing in the 60's and 70's. his love for old british sports cars naturaly passed down to me. After many restless weekend afternoons my wife finally relented and let my buy a car to restore. Of course my dream restoration car would be an old metal bumper english car. Being 23 and in the navy an Austin Healy 3000 is out of my reach, but I am just as happy with my 1969 MGB GT roadster. It is in good shape just needs some tlc and that is what I am here for.

I just bought a 1969 MGB GT roadster from British Auto Works just out side of Portland Oragon for 3000$ it only has one little dent and a tiny patch of rust and the rest of the body is perfect. Except for the paint it has one of the cheapest paint jobs I've ever seen. Oh well, one minor detail. The top is new, the interior is new and the tires are new. And it has the wire wheels! The engine is strong, the original. The only problems with it are the carb, its a Weber DGV and it stumbles all ove...
