I first came across this car parked next to a dumpster in the lot of a repair shop in Scottsdale, AZ. After riding past it, on and off again over the course of more than a year, through 115 degree sun and monsoon rains, I decided to approach the owner of the repair shop to find out what's going on. Turns out it was driven from PA to AZ and the owner abandoned the car at the shop. The owner had a mechanic's lien on it to the tune of $10/day for about 500 days... no way was it going anywhere....
