Retired air traffic controller, 32 years. Always had A mg somewhere, guess I had 7 (one at a time)till now ... currently have the 76B, I had restored as a daily driver, the 63B hot-rodded, always wanted a early pull handle/steel dash car that rocked!!, The 58A is a work in progress, everything underneath rebuilt to make it safe to drive, will do eng/trans, body, later down the road !! Bill Shields & the crew at Carriage Craft in Reading Pa, did the restoration work. I'm not a mechanic. Have two choppers to ride & learning to fly precision aerobatics in the bipe.

1/31 Ride

Last ride this evening with the 76B before the next snow/ice storm hits us. Had charging issues so I had the alternator rebuilt & now working fine. Tomorrow am, taken the jeep in the snow to pick up the 63B generator that also had to be rebuilt, stopped charging, then reisnstall it in the afternoon. No heat in the garage, just use a small hot air heater along side me to take the chill off. After the 63B is back on the road, I'll put the A in the garage, yup, that also needs a generator rebu...

a restored restoration

Picked up the car in Canada. Scraped the original 3 main bearing engine, for a later 5 main bearing, took it to a race shop to have alot of work done to the cylinder head, polished, ported, channeled for better oil flow, now supposedly a 8,000 rpm racing engine, lower end done also, pistons, bored, crankshaft balanced, flywheel lightened, etc. I'm not a mechanic, but this engine really rocks!!! Then added the 5 speed transmission, new universals, she'll cruise at 80mph with rocket power to acc...
