New B owner, first car was an Austin 1100, the I had a '69 slide window Mini Cooper. Pretty tricked out by the time I was done. Used to win all the parking lot races. Getting a little slower to get under the car now, and a lot slower getting up, whats that all about anyway?

It is now November 2009. I did drive the car back with no heat all the way and it ran well. IT sat for a couple months while I goatherd material and media blasted the 30 years worth of rust and crap off of the bottom of the car. I did not remove all the springs front end etc as I wanted to get some driving in. IT did get a major make over new brakes all around, new shocks on front, heater core and wiring. So after 2 years of searching for the car that called out to me I found it in a little town in BC. It is a 78 with around 91,000 km. I am planning to pick it up and drive it back to Spruce Grove. 808.5 Miles It looks gorgeous, and the present owner is selling after because he bought it for his girlfriend.
