I started restoring my 65 MGB about 20 years ago (aor maybe it was 25). I got it all torn apart and got the body over to a guy who could weld on new body panels (mainly the right rear fender, repair panels to the left rear fender, the 3 parts that comprise the door sills and what's hidden inside them, and both cocpit floors) and had him put on new door skins.
