I'm a Kiwi, living in Austalia and working in the mining / oil / gas construction sectors. Got no MG's to drive now as they are at Mum and Dad's house in New Zealand until I either go back home again or bring the cars over here. Haven't seen many MG's around Perth.

On my Uncle's birthday ( he's got a 1954 MG TF 1250 ) in 2004, I purchased a very nice 1974 MG BGT to reshell my old race car. It is a reasonably rare colour here in NZ ( Bracken with Autumn Leaf interior ), has 140,000km on the clock, no rust or accident repairs to speak of, and was owned by an old couple in Hamilton ( New Zealand ) for 18 years. In the foreground is my 1974 BGT, purchased to reshell my old '66 roadster racecar. The GT is an original 140,000KM ( 87K miles ) example , totally standard, in Bracken with Autumn Leaf interior trim, o/d gearbox and chrome rostyles.
