10,07,2010. Today I purchased Insurance , got the car state saftey inspection and registered in NC. The B is finally on the road again after being parked in 93 and the resto started in 2002. There is a long list of repaired parts , replaced parts, reconditioned parts, and upgrades that my father, my son , my wife , & I have done to get this car back into showroom condition. I thank each of them for thier hard work, skill & patience in helping me put this car back on the road.

I am nearing completion of the 76 MGB restoration. I have installed a new interior, including recovered seats with new cushions & webbing, new interior panels and covered in black, new carpet, new dashboard. The car is running and I only have a few more things to do to it to get it on the road. I replaced the alternator with a Saturn altenator. Installed a new soft top. However I now am at a standstill again for about 3-4 weeks, I think.

After about 7 years of major body work and taking care of lifes other projects, we finally got paint on the 76 MGB. It came out great, one of the best home garage paint jobs we have done.

Well, here I am back in my house after the fire & 5 months of restoration on the house. Still have a lot of work with unpacking and installing blinds & curtian rods, ect. My plan is to have my 76 B painted by Christmas & on its way to being on the road this coming spring. I pray that no more unexpected catastrophies happen at home. While out of my house I had to rebuild the engine in my Saturn & my son bought an 84 S-10 Blazer that we rebuilt & put on the road before he went off to Wyotech in Or...
