After fitting the upper shock mounts, we noticed that the upper control arm adjusters were too close to the frame. I'll probably round over the sharp edges on the lathe. Next on the list is to replace the bent hub on the drivers side so I can clearance the fender.

I finally decided which coilovers to use. Clearance for the frame, tire/wheel and axle is going to be tight but seems to be okay.

I found a set of inexpensive miata daisy wheels on craigslist. I can use these for mockup since the size and offset is similar to the wheels I'm going to use.

After neglecting the midget for several months, I finally got some time to work on it. Since the passenger side control arms were done, I decided to clearance the rear fenderwell. After installing the arms, carrier and hub, I scabbed a radius jig together for the plasma cutter. I was concerned that the car might flex after removing most of the fender well but the temporary braces held it in place. I spot welded some tabs on the insides of the fender to fasten the liner to.
