Destiny for me to own an MG started three days after I was born. I came home from the hospital riding on the back shelf of a '63 MGB. My current B is the longest lasting car I have ever had. For more than ten years it was my primary transportation. It made two cross country trips, numerous trips between NC and MA while I was in the Marine Corps. I remember my ex wife told me that I should get rid of the car to make her happy. Now, years later, the MG and I live happily alone.

I have finally started working on a Les Leston wheel I pulled some time ago from a junkyard. Polishing the aluminum from the spokes is a pain, but the results are good so far. Problems arose when I had to clean silicone from all threaded holes, and chase the threads with a tap. I have the boss in primer, and should paint it soon. The wood will be another issue I am sure.
