I purchased my rusty but reliable Australian assembled 1972 Flame Red MGB Mk 2 Roadster from Mike Wilson in Sydney on Feb 14 2008. My son Andrew & I drove the beautiful machine we have named 'Abigail' to Melbourne & have started restoration. So far, with the help of my friend Neil (now deceased}Abi has had some rewiring, new horns fitted & some tidying up under the bonnet/hood. Plus 4 Autos in Dandenong replaced the left sill, etc., half the front guard & dog leg on the back, then matched the paint. They also rbuilt the front end & fitted rear telescopic shocks. Allan & Grant at Cullinger's Service Centre in Airport West continue to work magic under the bonnet to keep Abi running beautifully. As of July 28 20011, Abi is still a magnificent motor car, but work in progress.
