I purchased a 1976 Midget in August of 2009 in Richmond Virgina. Overall the car is in good condition from a prior restoration. The engine ID number shows it to be a California car which probably means it had an easy life. I have been replacing components during my free time and am glad to have found this website.

Thirty three years has managed to make the steering wheel a bit slippery so I decided to install a leather cover. Overall it came out quite well but I don't think I would do it again, the hand stitching takes a long time but the finished product is an improvement. I also installed a center console which makes for a good armrest.
