Long time sportscar fan and road racing spectator. Have purchased a car to try vintage racing on a "non die hard" basis. Currently belong to several British car clubs and own: 1961 MGA vintage racer; 1973 Jaguar E-Type; 1979 MGB roadster; 1983 Jaguar XJS with 6 speed conversion and several other mods. Enjoy doing most of my own mechanical work and the communication and learning processes involved with that. Would like to learn more about bodywork, painting, and welding.
