I am cursed with the car tinkerers bug. LBC's, old Ford 4x4's, Baja Bugs, and anything 'kewl' or out of the ordinary like stuffing a 280z on top of a Toyota 4x4 frame to make a 4x4 280z or cramming v6's and v8's into tiny cars like MGB's or KZ1000 MC engines into Sprint car frames, etc. When I was a kid I even once mounted a Briggs & Stratton gas powered edger motor to the back of a skateboard (which resulted in a lot of unnecessary road rash....)

69 MGB Cleanup Begun

Up on Jack Stands

I cleaned up the 69 this past weekend and pulled the short block that was sitting in the engine bay in preparation for installing a running engine I picked up for $200 a few weeks ago. I filled *two* 5 gallon shop vac bags with pack rat droppings and nesting materials. I even found a pack rat skull. I'm thinking of encasing it in a plastic ball and making it my gear shifter :-) The floor boards are going to need to be replaced eventually but for now I'm just going to tack weld some good s...
