I have been working on these cars from the age of 16 when I bought my first 1960 MGA twin cam.(Red) Within 1yr I had bought three more MGA'S and had them throughout High School also had a 1964 Triumph TR-4.Then about 25yrs flew by, now I'm back home to my British cars. We have three MG midgets 74,76,&79,one 1966 Austin Healy Sprite and one 1957 Triumph TR-3. Always looking for more! "SAVE THE OLD CARS"

Hard Top

The hard top on this 76 Midget belongs to our 1966 Austin Healy Sprite. I have now just got home from my second knee replacement on the same knee, within 10 months. I hope to be able to start working on all my cars in about 6 to 8 weeks. I'v done nothing to the gas tank, from my last entry.

Well here I am thinking like everyone else, OK no one else is going to start this project! So let's get going. Now lets get the car up in the back high enough to drop the gas tank. I put the car on car ramps under the rear tires and used my floor jack with a 6x6 railroad tie about two feet long under the gas tank( The day before I sprayed all the nuts with this stuff called "PB" it breaks through rust like nothing else.)
