"Vino Tinto"

Purchased my '74 MGB GT locally from a guy who claims he drove it to work, 4 days a week, 37 miles each way. The odometer/speedometer stopped working @ 125,000 miles (he estimates that the car has apporx 140,000 now).

He has owned the car for three years & rebuilt the motor @ about 111,000 miles. He claims he maintained the car & kept up with all the scheduled maintenance.

The GT runs great, doesn't smoke, starts right up, and stops in good order. The floor pan & trunk area does not have any "through" rust. The only "through" rust on the car is @ the bottom of both front fenders. Paint wise, it was resprayed the original color at one time. However, the current paint is faded pretty badly.

All in all, I feel I got a good deal on the car, and have plans to do a "rolling" restoration on the car until time (and money) allow for a more thorough restoration sometime in the future.

I have always admired the MGB GT, and I am excited to finally own one.
