I'm new to British Cars never had one although I looked at purchasing one in the late 50's. Drove Jag Roadster's, Jag Saloon's, MG's, Austin Healy's and even looked at a Gullwing Mercedes but ended up buying a 1955 Olds Starfire Conv.. At this point I need to have a high learning curve since only worked on American Cars until this year.
