Restoration was finished in time for my daughter's wedding. I chose to improve my MGB rather than to do an original restoration. The engine now has a cross flow aluminum head, dual 1.5 SU carbs, a hot street cam,and Pertronix ignition. I have installed relay switches for the headlights, fog lights, horn, and brake lights. I used drilled and slotted front brake rotors for better stopping. I purchased an overdrive transmission for improved gas milage and driving pleasure. I installed new seat covers and carpeting in tan rather than in the original autumn leaf. And it now sports chrome wire wheels and a luggage rack. |
