I owned a 73 with OD back in the mid-80's and gave it up when it started to fold in half. I bought this one last year an dthen won a snowmobile (Racing Ski-Doo) that I promptly sold and put the proceeds into my MGB Fund! I was out riding it when I accidently entered a contest and won this Racing sled. NICE! I was lloking for ways to come up with funds and this was perfect! Now. I am sticking to the safety items primarily - brakes, shocks, fuel system, but I am also looking ahead to a newly rebuilt engine someday. I am really impressed by the MGB community and the helpful exchange of information. What a great way to put computer technology to good fun use! I enjoy collecting photos of MGB's and have quite a collection. If you care to send any to me, I would appreciate it. I may do a wall of MG pics in frames and it's always interesting to see how different owner's treat their cars. To me, this "B" is a very individual experience and I have no real care to think in terms of "original" to 1978. lowtidesteve
