I purchased the car sight unseen in St. Louis, Mo.. I flew to St. Louis and picked up the car and drove it home to Orlando,Fl..,the PO had assured me that the car was ready to drive anywhere and he was correct. I drove 1100 miles with never a hiccup and used only .5 pt. of oil. The PO had made me aware of the body changes he had made and the changes to the engine -- headers, dual SU carbs and dist..Everything on the car works -- lights, gauges, heater, wipers and radio. I have owned MG's off and on since my first purchase of a 1957 MGA in 1958, it is good to by back in a MG

If I'm not being too intrusive, might I inquire as to where you purchased the car? Private or a dealer? I'm considering a dealer, but I think he might be a bit high.
