No joke. I've just seen it in several films, the latest being Eric Rohmer's film Pauline at the Beach last night. As you know, it's just across the channel so I figured you'd probably been there. It certainly looks marvelous in photos and film!

Whats with people and their endless desire to whine about anything they can find?
Proven to be of low IQ by the fact that they most likely lined up overnight to buy the damn iphone 5, I have to point out the irony of these low brows complaining about what amounts to a technical marvel. They perhaps think they could have done a beter job?
The same crowd would have complained about the variety of bread at Jesus' miracle in the desert or the dryness of the wedding wine provided by the same dude.
If you really needd to find some lemmings that should be marched off a cliff, look no further than the 6-8 million people who are dumping their perfectly good phones so that they can claim to own the latest greatest iphone 5.

But the Apple Maps software is so damn appalling that it's hilarious. My friend tells me our local Apple Store is apparently in the middle of a park Laugh along, chap
On a serious note, I find the rampant consumerism these days deeply disturbing. The world of marketing has a lot to answer for.

Personally i believe Apple should have concentrated on the "map" and less on the 3D views of the city buildings, and got he mapping right, then introduced the WOW.
Sure the 3D is fun but would have absorbed a lot of time and resources.
Me, i have a hand-me-down 3G. I even get phone calls on it.
