Not my cup of tea, but interesting nevertheless. But I did have one on a Holden Monaro years ago.

They only looked good on extremely cutting edge shapes coming out of Italy in the seventies. Pretty bad on Datsuns and Firebirds and truly awful on things like Bs.

We used to sell a bunch of them in the mid-80's on Datsun 280's, 280ZX, and 300ZX. We also sold a particularly vile set of headlamp louvres that were black metal to match.

And we cringed when they drove out the door. They were just ugly.

Nissan beat us, though, on hanging crap off cars that ruined the lines with their 50th Anniversary editions.

Dust catchers. Scratched the windows. Cheap looking. Just tint the back window and be done with it.

"rarer than rocking horse manure"

Hilarious.

My parents had a set of these louvers on our 79 Toyota Celica. I thought they were so cool at the time.

Now Jim, you know those wing spoilers make a truck as aerodynamic as a Ferrari.

Doesn't Victoria British sell those?

I know I've seen them for sale somewhere.
